Screen Rescue are delighted to welcome new Technician, Nick Parry to their Chelmsford team.

Franchisor, Jaime Hilario has recruited an additional Technician, in order to further develop the highly successful Screen Rescue Chelmsford business.

“We are delighted to introduce our new addition to Screen Rescue Chelmsford,” said franchisor, Jaime Hilario.


“Nick Parry joins our family run franchise bringing an enormous wealth of experience gained from a well known national replacement windscreen company, where he was an Area Supervisor.”


After developing his skills as a Technician in Auto Windscreens, Nick was soon promoted to Area Supervisor of the Capital Response Team. Here Nick managed a team of 11 technicians who covered greater London to the M25 where they carried out replacement windscreens. Day-to-day Nick was responsible from booking in their jobs, ordering in glass and their materials, and managing the stock control. Soon after he was running the technician’s logistics and route planning to maximise all responses to scheduled jobs.


“Throughout the interview process for Screen Rescue Chelmsford ,” continues Jaime, “we saw in Nick some great management and people skills that will be further developed here at Screen Rescue as Nick’s role grows. It was a great opportunity to select Nick from the industry, and give him the opportunity to get back in front of the customers once again.”


“I had reached the stage of wanting to get back in front of clients where I could be hands-on with technical repairs once again,” says Technician, Nick. “I was already aware of the outstanding reputation Screen Rescue has in the industry, and as soon as I saw the position advertised, I knew there was no other windscreen repairs company better placed to carry out complex technical glass repairs in the Commercial Automotive industry.


I also knew they had just secured exclusive rights to use the latest most technologically advanced windscreen repairs equipment in the franchise, which meets all the new bsi standards coming at the end of the year – lots of mainstream competitors are still not in this position, and are not yet compliant. That was really important to me. It means I'm able to further develop my new clients and provide them an excellent, unrivalled repair quality with the best equipment in the industry.”


Nick has been introduced one-by-one to the clients he will now look after and further develop.


“It’s really great to be able to build business relationships face-to-face once again and to deliver an exceptional client experience with an outstanding repair quality that I’ve honestly never seen before.


I was also attracted to the operational side of the business model Screen Rescue live and breath by. Every franchise territory is structured so that we can meet the demand of Rapid Response call-out repairs direct to our commercial client or to their customers on the same day, within the hour, if they need it. This is something even national competitors struggle to do. As well as our proactive approach, it really does gives us the advantage.


With Screen Rescue as an NVQ highly trained specialist technician, there is also a clearly defined promotional pathway leading to Business Manager. And, as I’m working my way along this roadmap, I’m already seeing the benefits of future franchise ownership. My long-term goal is to become a franchisee and join our growing franchise network."
